One-of-a-Kind Ceremonies

Personalized and Heartfelt Weddings and More by Rev. Don Toshach

In life, it’s optimal to find that certain something that you love doing, and that other people love you doing it. Weddings have been that for me. From Day One as a seminary-trained, ordained minister, I have always received compliments on the way I conduct wedding ceremonies, and brides and grooms as well as their families and guests often tell me that they felt inspired and included, instead of ignored and bored. My passion is to be the least stressful part of a bride and groom’s wedding experience, and appropriately honor this important milestone in their lives. I care about your wedding almost as much as you do!

Couples often ask me about my different wedding packages. I have only one — to give you a meaningful and memorable wedding that captures your “flavor.” Every couple has their own unique “vibe.” I believe it’s essential to find an officiant who fits you and “gets” you.

I don’t view myself as a hit-and-run officiant, but as your pastor and advocate devoted to you having a terrific personalized and heartfelt ceremony that launches your marriage in the right way. My agenda is your agenda. I collaborate with each couple to create a ceremony that fits their beliefs, personalities, cultural/ethnic backgrounds, and wishes. Your wedding can be religious, nonreligious, mixed faith, or some combination thereof. I don’t have to mention God at all. You can ask any of the couples I’ve married over the past two decades: I’m easily accessible and available to be helpful to you and lend you my expertise from the moment you book me.

What’s my style? I’m easy to know and work with. On your wedding day, that translates to someone who relates to a wide spectrum of people from all walks of life. I’m a quick wit and know how to ad-lib at appropriate times to break the tension and lighten things up. I know how to keep the serious things serious, and inject humor when needed. I like for the weddings I conduct to be inclusive, and give permission for all the V.I.P.s you’ve invited to come to fully engage in the ceremony and be inspired by the love commitment you are making. It is a crime for a wedding to be boring!

In short, I love weddings because I truly love serving couples on one of the most important days of their lives. Moreover, I keep conducting weddings because of the positive feedback I get from brides, grooms, and their families and friends at every ceremony I perform that it was the best, or among the best weddings they’ve ever attended.

I travel throughout greater Southern California area to conduct weddings, but I’m open to traveling elsewhere. My main wedding territory includes Orange County, San Diego County, Fallbrook and Temecula, the Inland Empire and Palm Springs. In the past two years I’ve also conducted weddings on the Central Coast of California, as well as in the Denver and Atlanta areas.

Rings and ThingsI’m not the least expensive minister you’ll find out on the internet, but the quality of service I offer is unmatched. Like most things in life, you get what you pay for…and I do my best to give you MORE than you pay for. I know many ministers who charge far more than I do and provide less service. I try my best to keep it affordable, knowing that weddings are expensive. Discounts are available for military couples and midweek ceremonies. If I’m not available for your wedding date, I can refer you to other great officiants who can assist you.

Please contact me by e-mailing through the Contact Me widget here on the website, calling 858.395.7834, or through my Facebook page. I’d love to answer your questions. I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Many thanks!
